C# - Changing color of checkmark in checkbox

I have a C# application with a tick checkmark when user select the checkbox. The default color is black and not set by anyone. I would like to know the best approach to use to change the color of the checkmark, say to red instead of black.
I can't seem to find which part of the code is responsible for the color change. Tried finding resources online but it requires writing over hundred of lines of XAML just to set the color.
Any suggestion please.

I understand that you want to avoid writing over hundered of lines of XAML just to set the color, but from Visual Studio 2012 onwards, there's a feature where you can edit a copy of the control template. In Design mode, right click on the checkbox control, select Edit Template > Edit A Copy...
Then you can set where to define the template at, so you could either reuse it or just use it for one checkbox.
These are the colors you need to manipulate if you're on Windows 8 or above since the template varies base on Windows version. (The generated template has the following code)

Toggle Visibility of Expander icon

Hi I'm using XAML and C# to create a simple WPF demo. I want to toggle the visibility of just the arrow button of the expander. I've edited a custom template for the expander as seen below in the xaml code. I know I have to change the visibility of the ellipse and path.

Checkbox with RightToLeft flow direction in Windows 8.1

Why checkbox checked mark appears with mirrored image in windows 8.1, when applying FlowDirection as RightToLeft. it is normally in other windows os.

Although the look will be slightly different but you can either go with it or change the style as well.

WPF: Cant find correct BorderBrush after setting Style

I have a button which I apply a style too. After the style is applied I have a test that checks the BorderBrush of the button to make sure the style was correctly applied. This test always fails, because the BorderBrush never gets updated in the Buttons properties.
Is there a way for me to get the actual BorderBrush being displayed? All i can get is the default BorderBrush, not the applied styles value.

In my test app, I want to check which style has been applied. The difference between the two styles is the border brush. I would like to do something like this:

But the BorderBrush never changes (e.g. in a watch window, it stays the same as the default buttons style BorderBrush), but its definitely applied correctly as in the GUI it turns green.
How can i access this property in my test?

The BorderBrush property of the Button is not bound to anything in your template. You need to do this in the control template:

Notice how the BorderBrush is now bound to the BorderBrush property of the Button. Then you you can set the BorderBrush in the style and should be able to access it in this way:

combobox IsFocused problems wpf

I've created wpf ComboBox template. And I've added trigger on IsFocused property, to change my ComboBox Border color. But for some reasons it's working only when It's focused with Tab button. The problem appears to be with WPF's DependencyProperty Precedence rules
The color specified in ComboBoxReadonlyToggleButton Style:

is taking precendence over the triggered color defined in your ComboBox's ControlTemplate.Triggers
