The title says it. This isn't really the end of the world, but it's an annoyance. If I rename a Blazor component, IntelliSense breaks and still accepts the old name until I restart Visual Studio. I also get an error when trying to do the rename.
I'm using Visual Studio 2019 Professional. Is this a known issue in VS?

Is this a known issue in VS?
I guess it is, at least for both of us... My solution: Double click on the Blazor's project name, and remove all the settings added by VS in reference to naming changes made.
Of course, you may post an issue in github...

Note this experiment:
I renamed Index.razor to Index.txt, and then opened the csproj file. VS added these settings:

Again, I renamed Index.txt to Index.razor... VS has removed these elements. No issues. I'm using community version, but when I was using the professional version, I had to remove them manually...But alas, it took me some time to realize this (rather by change than by being smart...)
Another experiment: Renamed Counter.razor to Counter2.razor... tried to add an element for Counter2 in the Index page: <Counter2 />, but it is rejected. I could still use <Counter />, which does not exist any longer. Only after closing the Index page and opening it did it recognize the new changes...

As you can see above it's still looking for netcoreapp3.0 when in reality everything is 3.1. This is so stupid, it's driving me nuts.
I just fixed this after literally trying everything else by simply deleting my "vs" hidden folder located in the root folder of the visual studio solution.

All projects in the solution are build under framework 4.8
All have Any Cpu as Platform Target.
Not as 32-bit prefer option active.
I have x64 arquitecture selected for tests.
There is no testFile settings in use.
I try rebuild, clean rebuild, resinstall VS, nothing work. I can't find out what this error is.
I had a similar issue workaround try this command in the in run window "devenv /ResetSettings", It worked for me.
Microsoft recognized the problem and roll out a fix in version VS 2019 16.5.2.

I had this issue in Visual Studio Enterprise 2019 Version 16.5.4, but restarting VS fixed it.
Faced this issue in following version. Clean and Rebuild Solution worked for me.

Fixed by closing and opening VS.
Everything worked (VS2019) and suddenly started failing with a similar (did not compare word to word) callstack.
Rebuilding did not help, neither did manually killing hung processes from test console.
After re-opening VS - everything back to normal

Is there any additional logging I can enable to find the cause?
Most likely, you've implemented IDisposable on the object you're injecting, and then somewhere, you're calling Dispose on it. When using dependency injection, the container owns the instance and is responsible for disposing of it. The code you've posted doesn't provide any guidance as to where this might be occuring, so I would simply do a search for Dispose in your project and step through the results until you find something suspicious.
