I need to reference a customer to a subsidiary in netsuite. I am using c# soap api. Is there a way to loop over all subsidiary items in netsuite in c# and select the one i need.
It would be something like this:
var sub = new SubsidiarySearchBasic();
var res = netSuiteService.search(sub);
if (res.status.isSuccess)
{
if (res.totalPages == res.pageIndex)
{
var result = res.recordList.ToList().Any() ? res.recordList.ToList().Cast<Subsidiary>().ToList() : null;
}
else
{
var resultados = res.recordList.ToList().Cast<Invoice>().ToList();
for (var i = 2; i <= res.totalPages; i++)
{
var resPages = netSuiteService.searchMoreWithId(res.searchId, i);
if (resPages.status.isSuccess)
{
resultados.AddRange(res.recordList.ToList().Cast<Invoice>().ToList());
}
}
}
}
else
{
throw new Exception(string.Join(",", res.status.statusDetail.ToList()));
}

I make SOAP requests to an e-commerce API to know how many orders were made for a specified product, in a given time frame.
My method takes a product ID and a number of days to create a time frame. Then it constructs a SOAP request and returns the amount sold products.
public static async Task<int?> GetOrdersFromApi(int providedId, int days) {
var dateFrom = DateTime.Now.AddDays(days * -1).ToString("yyyy-MM-dd") + " 00:00:00";
var dateTo = DateTime.Now.ToString("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss");
float orderedCount = 0;
int orderedCountToPass = 0;
int i = 0;
var binding = new BasicHttpBinding {
MaxReceivedMessageSize = 40000000
};
var address = new EndpointAddress("http://example.com/api/get/");
using (var client = new ApiOrdersPortTypeClient(binding, address)) {
try {
while (true) {
// request parameters
var request = new ApiOrdersGetAsync.requestType {
authenticate = new ApiOrdersGetAsync.authenticateType {
userLogin = "Username",
authenticateKey = "Key",
}
};
request.#params = new ApiOrdersGetAsync.paramsType {
ordersStatuses = new string[] { "finished" },
products = new productType[1],
};
request.#params.products[0] = new productType {
productIdSpecified = true,
productId = providedId,
};
request.#params.ordersRange = new ordersRangeType {
ordersDateRange = new ordersDateRangeType()
};
request.#params.ordersRange.ordersDateRange.ordersDateTypeSpecified = true;
request.#params.ordersRange.ordersDateRange.ordersDateType = ordersDateTypeType.dispatch;
request.#params.ordersRange.ordersDateRange.ordersDateBegin = dateFrom;
request.#params.ordersRange.ordersDateRange.ordersDateEnd = dateTo;
request.#params.resultsPageSpecified = true;
request.#params.resultsPage = i;
// processing the result
var results = await client.getAsync(request);
foreach (var result in results.Results) {
int productsResultsPage = 0;
foreach (var product in result.orderDetails.productsResults) {
try {
if (result.orderDetails.productsResults[productsResultsPage ].productId == providedId) {
orderedCount += result.orderDetails.productsResults[y].productQuantity;
productsResultsPage++;
}
} catch (IndexOutOfRangeException ex) {
// error is thrown to escape loop - sloppy, I know
Console.WriteLine(ex);
};
}
};
orderedCountToPass = (int)orderedCount;
orderedCount = 0;
i++;
};
} catch (NullReferenceException) {
// do nothing, we just want to exit while loop when i is higher than page count
}
return orderedCountToPass;
};
}
The result often should be in hundreds, but regardless how well a product sells, it returns something from 0 to 4.
Here is a sample response:
For example, I'm only interested with productId == 479, but an order was made with other products as well that don't interest me - I need to filter them.
I'm doing something wrong with how I try to filter results. How do I do it properly? I'm certain the request is correct and response does contain all possible orders.
You are getting xml results so use Net Xml library :
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
using System.Xml;
using System.Xml.Linq;
namespace ConsoleApplication1
{
class Program
{
const string URL = #"Enter URL Here";
static void Main(string[] args)
{
XDocument doc = XDocument.Load(URL);
List<XElement> items = doc.Descendants("item").ToList();
}
}
}
I have this c# code where i am trying to get data from a wsdl in visual studio .
The code is okay but when i try to get the data to written on notepad it just shows an empty space :
WindowsService1.ServiceReference1.GetModifiedBookingsOperationResponse getModbkgsResp;
using (var proxy = new WindowsService1.ServiceReference1.InventoryServiceClient())
{
int noofBookings = 1;
getModbkgsResp = proxy.GetModifiedBookings(getModBkgsReq);
WindowsService1.ServiceReference1.Booking[] bookings = new WindowsService1.ServiceReference1.Booking[noofBookings];
getModbkgsResp.Bookings = new WindowsService1.ServiceReference1.Booking[noofBookings];
getModbkgsResp.Bookings = bookings;
if (getModbkgsResp.Bookings != null)
{
for (int i = 0; i < bookings.Length; i++)
{
Booking bk = new WindowsService1.ServiceReference1.Booking();
getModbkgsResp.Bookings[i] = bk;
if (bk != null )
{
bookingSource = bk.BookingSource;
if (bk.BookingId == Bookingcode)
{
this.WriteToFile("Booking Source =" + bookingSource + "");
}
else
{
this.WriteToFile("Sorry could not find your source of booking");
}
}
else
{
this.WriteToFile("Looks like source is null " );
}
}
}
else
{
this.WriteToFile("ERROR: Booking details not returned from GetModifiedBookings! " +StartDate);
}
}
I'm not sure why you are using the new keyword to create items that should have been retrieved from the service. Naturally anything created with new will be initialized with default values and will not contain any data that was retrieved from the service.
My guess is your code should look more like this:
using (var proxy = new WindowsService1.ServiceReference1.InventoryServiceClient())
{
var response = proxy.GetModifiedBookings(getModBkgsReq);
if (response.Bookings == null)
{
this.WriteToFile("ERROR: Booking details not returned from GetModifiedBookings! " +StartDate);
return;
}
var booking = response.Bookings.SingleOrDefault( b => b.BookingId == bookingCode);
if (booking == null)
{
this.WriteToFile("Sorry could not find your source of booking");
return;
}
var bookingSource = booking.BookingSource;
this.WriteToFile("Booking Source =" + bookingSource + "");
}
this might be a simple answer due to my inexperience with C# and .NET. I have two Stripe Test Accounts. TL:DR; is I am essentially looking for a Customers.all solution.
The source account has all the customer, card, and charge data.
The destination account has the copied card and customer data done by Stripe Support.
I have code that loops through the pulls all the data from the source account. It then finds the customer data from the destination account using the collection of customer/card data from the source. After that it then recreates the charges from the source account into the destination account.
I am able to successfully copy the first 100 charges into the destination account using information from the source account but I am having the hardest time getting the rest of the customers.
This is what I have so far:
public static void GenerateDestinationChargeData()
{
// code to get collection of customer data from destination account
StripeConfiguration.SetApiKey(destinationTestKey);
var customerService = new StripeCustomerService();
IEnumerable<StripeCustomer> customerItems = customerService.List(
new StripeCustomerListOptions()
{
Limit = 100,
//this is what I cannot figure out, eventually to get all of the customers from the destination account
StartingAfter = customerItems.LastOrDefault().Id
}
);
// loop through collection of customers from destination acct to fetch customer charge data from source account
foreach (var i in customerItems)
{
bool isError = false;
var liveChargeService = new StripeChargeService();
StripeConfiguration.SetApiKey(sourceTestKey);
StripeList<StripeCharge> chargeItems = new StripeList<StripeCharge>();
chargeItems = liveChargeService.List(
new StripeChargeListOptions()
{
Limit = 100,
CustomerId = i.Id
}
);
// loop through customer charge data from source and re-create charge data on destination Acct
foreach (var c in chargeItems.Data)
{
StripeConfiguration.SetApiKey(sourceTestKey);
var emailReceipt = "";
Dictionary<string, string> chargeMetaData = new Dictionary<string, string>();
var onBehalfOf = "";
var transferGroup = "";
var chargeDescription = "";
var chargeCaptured = "";
var chargeCurrency = "";
var chargeStatementDescriptor = "";
if (c.ReceiptEmail != null)
{
emailReceipt = c.ReceiptEmail;
}
if (c.Metadata != null)
{
chargeMetaData = c.Metadata;
}
if (c.OnBehalfOf != null)
{
onBehalfOf = c.OnBehalfOf.ToString();
}
if (c.TransferGroup != null)
{
transferGroup = c.TransferGroup;
}
if (c.Description != null)
{
chargeDescription = c.Description;
}
if (c.Captured != null)
{
chargeCaptured = c.Captured.ToString();
}
if (c.Currency != null)
{
chargeCurrency = c.Currency;
}
if (c.StatementDescriptor != null)
{
chargeStatementDescriptor = c.StatementDescriptor;
}
try
{
var chargeOptions = new StripeChargeCreateOptions();
chargeOptions.CustomerId = i.Id;
chargeOptions.ReceiptEmail = emailReceipt;
chargeOptions.Metadata = chargeMetaData;
chargeOptions.Description = chargeDescription;
chargeOptions.Capture = c.Captured;
chargeOptions.Currency = chargeCurrency;
chargeOptions.Amount = c.Amount;
chargeOptions.StatementDescriptor = chargeStatementDescriptor;
StripeChargeService chargeService = new StripeChargeService(destinationTestKey);
StripeCharge stripeCharge = chargeService.Create(chargeOptions);
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
Utility.NotifyDevAdminException("test", ex);
isError = true;
}
if (isError) continue;
}
}
}
Thank you so much :)
Since we cannot do a Customers.all with this current Stripe API, the solution is to set an empty variable and assign it the last Customer ID in the first set of 100 that we get and continue the query from that last assigned value
var lastId = String.Empty;
if (String.IsNullOrEmpty(lastId))
{
StripeConfiguration.SetApiKey(sourceCustomerAccountAPIKey);
customerItems = customerService.List(
new StripeCustomerListOptions(){ Limit = 100 });
}
else
{
StripeConfiguration.SetApiKey(sourceCustomerAccountAPIKey);
customerItems = customerService.List(
new StripeCustomerListOptions() {
Limit = 100,
StartingAfter = lastId });
}
lastId = customerItems.LastOrDefault().Id;
I'm not a developer so maybe the answer is out there for a different solution but I can't really translate it from python or something else.
I'm trying to use the AWS .NET SDK to find an instance and then get the instance's tags. I've gotten as far as being able to determine if an instance is up and running or not. I also see how I can create and delete tags (not in code example below). But I don't see an easy way to actually check if a tag exists and get the value of the tag if it does exist.
Sorry if I'm missing the obvious but this is all new to me. Here's an example of the code I'm using to check if an instance is running.
instanceID = "i-myInstanceID";
do {
var myrequest = new DescribeInstanceStatusRequest();
DescribeInstanceStatusResponse myresponse = ec2.DescribeInstanceStatus(myrequest);
int isCount = myresponse.DescribeInstanceStatusResult.InstanceStatuses.Count;
for (int isc=0; isc < isCount; isc++) {
InstanceStatus instanceStatus = myresponse.DescribeInstanceStatusResult.InstanceStatuses[isc];
if (instanceStatus.InstanceId.Contains(instanceID)) {
Console.WriteLine("It looks like instance "+instanceID+" is running.");
idIdx = isc;
foundID = true;
break;
}
}
if ((foundID==false) && (secondCounter==1)) {
Console.Write("Looking for instance "+instanceID);
} else {
Console.Write(".");
}
Thread.Sleep(1000);
secondCounter++;
if (secondCounter > 5) {
break;
}
} while (foundID == false) ;
First send a DescribeInstancesRequest to get the list of Instances:
public DescribeInstancesResult GetInstances(Ec2Key ec2Key)
{
_logger.Debug("GetInstances Start.");
AmazonEC2 ec2 = CreateAmazonEc2Client(ec2Key);
var ec2Request = new DescribeInstancesRequest();
DescribeInstancesResponse describeInstancesResponse = ec2.DescribeInstances(ec2Request);
DescribeInstancesResult result = describeInstancesResponse.DescribeInstancesResult;
_logger.Debug("GetInstances End.");
return result;
}
Then loop through the instances until you find the one you want, and then use the Tag.GetTagValueByKey method:
// This just calls the above code
DescribeInstancesResult ec2Instances = _ec2ResourceAccess.GetInstances(ec2Key);
var returnInstances = new List<Ec2UtilityInstance>();
foreach (var reservation in ec2Instances.Reservation)
{
foreach (var runningInstance in reservation.RunningInstance)
{
var returnInstance = new Ec2UtilityInstance();
returnInstance.InstanceId = runningInstance.InstanceId;
returnInstance.InstanceName = runningInstance.Tag.GetTagValueByKey("Name");
returnInstance.Status = (Ec2UtilityInstanceStatus)Enum.Parse(typeof(Ec2UtilityInstanceStatus), runningInstance.InstanceState.Name, true);
returnInstance.DefaultIp = runningInstance.Tag.GetTagValueByKey("DefaultIp");
returnInstance.InstanceType = runningInstance.InstanceType;
returnInstance.ImageId = runningInstance.ImageId;
returnInstances.Add(returnInstance);
}
}

I need to do page load on scroll down in my application. I am using couchdb as my back end and I found a pagination option in couchdb which I think would satisfy my issue.
The thing is I can't find any working examples for pagination anywhere. I need someone's help in making my application work with this one.
Take a look at this for reference: https://github.com/soitgoes/LoveSeat/blob/master/LoveSeat/PagingHelper.cs
This is my code. I am getting an error in the options = model.GetOptions(); line, saying "object reference not set to an instance of an object".
public List<newVO> Getdocs(IPageableModel model)
{
List<newVO> resultList = new List<newVO>();
var etag = "";
ViewOptions options = new ViewOptions();
options = model.GetOptions();
options.StartKeyDocId = lastId;
options.Limit = 13;
options.Skip = 1;
var result = oCouchDB.View<newVO>("GetAlldocs", options);
//model.UpdatePaging(options, result);
if (result.StatusCode == HttpStatusCode.NotModified)
{
response.StatusCode = "0";
return null;
}
if (result != null)
{
foreach (newVO newvo in result.Items)
{
resultList.Add(newvo );
}
}
return resultList;
}
Thanks in advance. All ideas are welcome.

This is my code and i am getting error in "options = model.GetOptions();" line that object reference not set to an instance of an object...
I've not used the LoveSeat paging implementation, but you can use the Limit and Skip properties on the ViewOptions to achieve paging:
public static IEnumerable<T> GetPage(this ICouchDatabase couchDatabase,
string viewName,
string designDoc,
int page,
int pageSize)
{
return couchDatabase.View(viewName, new ViewOptions
{
Skip = page * pageSize,
Limit = pageSize
}, designDoc);
}
This simple extension method will get a page of data from a CouchDB view
