how can minimize and maximize window folders in C# - c#

I'm trying to minimize window folders and applications with voice ( speech recognition ) and this is my code :

i know how to use that code with button but i don't know how to use it with speech recognition so, how can i minimize windows with voice ? thanks.

First You need to Register for speech recognition event like:
On Page load
// Register handler for the SpeechRecognized event.

Then create a speech recognition event handler, Like :

You may want to have a look at Microsoft.Speech.Recognition.SpeechRecognitionEngine.
Using this you can subscribe to events and proceed with whatever action you want to perform on those events.

Change Caret (Cursor) in Textbox in C#

I want to change the Caret in a Textbox in C# that it appears wider like in does in old DOS applications.

I cant change the Caret when creating the textbox. Its only possible for a textbox created with the form.
You didn't link the event correctly, you should change to :

What is going on it seems is that the shown event will only initially work. When you leave the textbox by tabbing away and back to the control the caret will be reset by underlying code.

I took their DrawDaret Method and changed it a bit. Calling DrawCaret on the textbox1.Enter event doesn't work. possibly the textbox implementation will notify the Enter event and then change the caret. This would undo a change done in the Enter event handler regarding to the caret.

But the control also has a GotFocus event which you can use.

I tried some code, but it opens in maximized view with the taskbar.
Do you have any sample code or suggestions?

I know how to modify cursor position from examples on MSDN.
My question is how to check position of mouse while mouse moves and then print X and Y position to representing labels?
EDIT: Lets say I want to track my mouse position from my entire screen.
EDIT 2: My app will be in the back ground/minimized.

Here is an example of using low level mouse procs to change the scroll event.
In the answer in the second link use WM_MOUSEMOVE from here instead of WM_MOUSEWHEEL.
One thing to note: for this program to continue to capture mouse events when the mouse is over a program with elevated privileges, this program will have to be launch with elevated privileges.

You need to set a Windows hook in order to achieve this. The MSDN article How to set a Windows hook in Visual C# .NET shows how to set a mouse hook.
I tried it, it captures the mouse all over the form, even when the mouse cursor is over a control.
You can use the EventArgs of the MouseMove event, because it holds the mouse coordinates. From there you can easily set the text property of the label to the X or Y coordinate you will take from e (the MouseMove EventArgs).

How to prevent a window from minimizing?

you need to catch the event and handle it yourself.
Edit : This method will alert you once the state is changed, so it might not be the "best" solution but it could work.
Windows are not minimized when "Show Desktop" is issued. Instead the "WorkerW" and "Desktop" windows are brought to the foreground.
I ended up developing my own solution.
I scoured the internet for weeks trying to find an answer so I'm kind of proud of this one.
So what we do is use pinvoke to create a hook for the EVENT_SYSTEM_FOREGROUND window event.
This event triggers whenever the foreground window is changed.
Now what I noticed is when the "Show Desktop" command is issued, the WorkerW window class becomes foreground.
Note this WorkerW window is not the desktop and I confirmed the hwnd of this WorkerW window is not the Desktop hwnd.
So what we do is whenever the WorkerW window becomes the foreground, we set our "WPF Gadget Window" to be topmost!
Whenever a window other the WorkerW window becomes the foreground, we remove topmost from our "WPF Gadget Window".
If you want to take it a step further, you can uncomment out the part where I check if the new foreground window is also "PROGMAN", which is the Desktop window.
However, this will lead to your window becoming topmost if the user clicks their desktop on a different monitor. In my case, I did not want this behavior, but I figured some of you might.
Confirmed to work in Windows 10. Should work in older versions of Windows.

How to measure system idle time in C#, excluding when watching movies, etc?

I am looking for a program that measures system idle time on Windows. I have found many codes that do this. For example,

However, I also want to take into account user watching movies, videos, etc. That time no input is given, but still the system is not idle.
Is there anyway to do this?

After this, we just need to match the returned process name with a set of popular media players or other processes.
Limitation is that we have assumed user plays in fullscreen.
You can get the idle time for computer using this, however your problem is how to know weather a movie is playing, you can check the processes that is currently running on the computer System.Diagnostics.Process.GetProcesses(), and then check if one of them is a known movie player. However I don't think this will achieve what you locking for either, because even if you find out that for example a Gom player is running, you still don't know if it running a video or audio or just opened without any thing actually playing...
