Bing maps invalid credentials (Win Phone 8.1) - c#

I'm writing a simple WP 8.1 app which handle travel routes. I've created a key in Bing Maps Dev Center and I have a valid key. I set it in XAML for Map control:
<maps:MapControl x:Name="map" MapServiceToken="valid token"/>
In the app, I can search locations by addresses (MapLocationFinder.FindLocationsAsync) but I get an InvalidCredentials result when try to find a route between the addresses with MapRouteFinder.GetDrivingRouteAsync().

The Windows Phone 8.1 map control doesn't use Bing Maps. You have to get a map token to use these maps from the Windows Phone dev center. Here is documentation: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn741528.aspx
In Windows 10 this map control is updated to use Bing Maps.

Ok, there are certain countries in which the Windows 8.1 map control is disabled as documented here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj670541.aspx You can get around this by setting the HomeRegion property of the map to a country that isn't blocked. For example HomeRegion="US"

You will still need to have a Bing map key, but creating one for a mobile app is free.

Windows 8 - launch maps app

We are working on a C# Xaml-based Windows Store app.
We have integrated bing maps within the app, but we were wondering if it were possible to launch the "Maps" app to a certain address?
We don't want to implement full directions, so it would be nice to just provide a button to launch maps so they can do it from there.
Take a look at the URI Scheme for maps application in conjunction with LaunchUriAsync, I think it should do the trick.

BingMapsDirectionsTask equivalent for Windows 8

all is in the title, I'm looking for an equivalent in Windows 8 of the BingMapsDirectionsTask that exists in Windows Phone 7.
My purpose is to display a route without using the bing maps API.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Best regards
Since Bing is not built in, you need to manually access a Bing or Google API to manually get directions or whatever your use is.

New Map Scheme of Bing Maps

How can I use New Map Scheme of Bing Maps in my Windows Phone Application
as you can see here:

You'll need the appropriate MapTileSource but I don't think it's publicly available.
