When hosting the application on local IIS all forms work fine without causing any errors but while hosting the application on the server some forms are showing the 'Compilation Error'
**To remove these error made following updations to the server side.
Restart the application pool.
Enable 32-Bit Application = true on server side.
Still getting the error on the forms.**
Is there any other way to find out the server side compilation errors.
What is exactly the compiler error code 1.
Detailed Error is as follows:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Compilation Error
Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource
required to service this request. Please review the following specific
error details and modify your source code appropriately.

Please make sure you have installed required windows features to run IIS on your hosting server.
You can do it by following
Control panel >
Program features >
Turn on Windows features on or off
Then on the pop up window, navigate to;
Internet Information Services >
Word Wide Web Services >
Application Dev Features >
Tick all required features (I have ticked all but CGI)
Hope this helps.

I made some changes in the QnAMakerBasDialog.cs file, in trying to edit the default threshold. I did not change any other thing. When I tried deploying my changes at first, I was not getting the expected response and so I went back the editor to reverse my changes. It was at this point I started getting this error message.
I need help in reversing all changes if possible but most expecially in getting "test web chart" and all my channels working again.
Please see error message error:
kindly note that I tried this in the kudu console but still got the same error message

An error has occurred during web site deployment.
Surprisingly, I also encountered this problem. I also encountered this problem in Buid after modifying the Azure Bot code!
Even with this error, my build is successful
I've deployed the application on Server (HostGator), and on Preview it gives me following error

But when same application deployed on another Server, it runs smoothly on 1st try.
Tried every possibility mentioned on internet but unable to resolve the issue.
I have created a website on visual studio and I have added an SQL database onto it. I am using DetailsView and GridView to display the data. It works perfectly before I published the website using GoDaddy. I am assuming there is some security issue I need to fix. Any suggestions or help would be great. Thank you.

I have a WCF data service in a project in a solution, and after creating a WPF project and trying to add the service reference to it, I get this error message:
The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.
If the service is defined in the current solution, try building the solution and adding the service reference again.
Full error text here
These are the steps I followed to create the projects and the solution:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd465161.aspx
I've gotten to the "Creating the WPF Client Application" section, step 10, where the process fails to add the reference. That is when I get the error message, at the point of adding the service as a reference.
If I access the service path in the browser it says
"Request error. The server encountered an error processing the request. See server logs for more details."
My web.config in the service project is the original, added by VS.
Does anyone have any ideas, how to fix this?
I have developed a web service with the .asmx extension using C# and i want to deploy this into my VPS which has Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6.
Service is running with Framework 4.0 and it's installed in the VPS also. When I upload the precompiled version into the VPS it shows a runtime error

this is the new error message after enabling debugging in the web.config
You should enable debugging to diagnose the problem.
Microsoft has a very detailed explanation on how to enable detailed debugging over here.
Server Error in '/' Application.
That error is too generic, check the output after you enabled debugging and post the results.
And don't forget to disable debugging after your site goes live.
Update:
Seems to be permission related:
http://forums.iis.net/p/1042369/1454379.aspx
The ASPNET user account needs permissions for the folder that contains your asmx service.
Update2:
You can give the ASPNET user permissions using the file system permission dialog:
http://www.asp.net/learn/whitepapers/denied-access-to-iis-directories
Might look different on newer versions of Windows.
From my experience "Server Application Unavailable" means that you have got web sites that use different versions of .net in the same application pool.
the site that hosts your webservice needs to be in an app pool that only has .net 4.0 web sites. The application pool is configured on the Home Directory tab in the web site properties.
Looks to me like the application pool is trying to run two difference versions on .net.
Make a new application pool and call it something like .Net4 and then move the new site across to use this app pool and everything should work.
This error is shown by
