There are 2 problems with above code:
When I change myListView.SelectedIndex by code, the highlight item is not changed.
When I click on any button (myListView lost focus), the current SelectedItem is no longer highlight.
Someone can help me fix these bugs!
Many thanks,

I'am generating a ListView at runtime and populate it continuously. The problem is that I want disable the color change when hovering over an item or selecting it.
Every ListViewItem is not focusable. This way the color change doesn't stay and is only shown when hovering over and item.
I tried disable this by making my one style but unfortunately it did't work as hoped.
I used this Style
Setter setter = new Setter()
{
Property = Control.BackgroundProperty,
Value = null
};
Setter setter1 = new Setter()
{
Property = Control.BorderBrushProperty,
Value = null
};
Trigger trigger = new Trigger()
{
Property = ListBoxItem.IsSelectedProperty,
Value = true,
Setters = { setter, setter1 }
};
Style style = new Style()
{
Triggers = { trigger }
};
I also tried setting the ListView.FocusVisualStyle to null but I also had no results.
Well there are 2 options
1) if you dont need to select items : set IsHitTestVisible to false
2) make your own style
<!--Default LitsView-->
<Style TargetType="ListView">
<Setter Property="Background" Value="{StaticResource YOUR_BACKGROUND_COLOR}"/>
</Style>
<!--Default LitsViewItem-->
<Style x:Key="FocusVisual">

Try this in your xaml code...
<ListView ...>
<ListView.ItemContainerStyle>
<Style TargetType="{x:Type ListViewItem}">
<Setter Property="HorizontalAlignment" Value="Left"/>
<Setter Property="Template">
<Setter.Value>
<ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type ListViewItem}">
<ContentPresenter />
</ControlTemplate>
</Setter.Value>
</Setter>
</Style>
</ListView.ItemContainerStyle>
</ListView>
I have a ListView which uses a DataTemplate. When an item is selected a border and background is added but I am unsure where from. This shows in the visual tree as a border around the ContentPresenter but inside the ListViewItem. The properties show that they were added by triggers in the TemplatedParent template. How can I override these triggers given the structure below or is my approach wrong?
<ListView x:Name="MyListview" ItemsSource="{Binding Thumbnails}" ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Disabled">
<ListView.ItemsPanel>
<ItemsPanelTemplate>
<local:VirtualizingWrapPanel IsItemsHost="True" ....../>
</ItemsPanelTemplate>
</ListView.ItemsPanel>
<ListView.ItemContainerStyle>
<Style TargetType="ListViewItem">
<Setter Property="SnapsToDevicePixels" Value="true" />
</Style>
</ListView.ItemContainerStyle>
<ListView.ItemTemplate>
<DataTemplate x:Name="ThumbItemTemplate" DataType="{x:Type local:ThumbItem}">
<Grid Margin="6" Width="128" Height="168">
<Grid.RowDefinitions>
<RowDefinition Height="128"></RowDefinition>
<RowDefinition></RowDefinition>
</Grid.RowDefinitions>
<Border Grid.Row="0" BorderThickness="0">
<Image x:Name="ThumbnailImage" MaxHeight="128" MaxWidth="128" Source="{Binding Thumbnail}" />
</Border>
<TextBlock Grid.Row="1" Margin="0,6,0,0" TextAlignment="Center" x:Name="Description" Text="{Binding Title}" />
</Grid>
</DataTemplate>
</ListView.ItemTemplate>
</ListView>
These come from the ItemContainerStyle. You could define your own custom template for the ListViewItem, e.g:
<Style TargetType="ListViewItem">
<Style.Resources>
<Style x:Key="FocusVisual">
<Setter Property="Control.Template">
<Setter.Value>

</ControlTemplate>
</Setter.Value>
</Setter>
</Style>
<SolidColorBrush x:Key="Item.MouseOver.Background" Color="#1F26A0DA"/>
<SolidColorBrush x:Key="Item.MouseOver.Border" Color="#a826A0Da"/>
<SolidColorBrush x:Key="Item.SelectedInactive.Background" Color="#3DDADADA"/>
<SolidColorBrush x:Key="Item.SelectedInactive.Border" Color="#FFDADADA"/>
<SolidColorBrush x:Key="Item.SelectedActive.Background" Color="#3D26A0DA"/>
<SolidColorBrush x:Key="Item.SelectedActive.Border" Color="#FF26A0DA"/>
</Style.Resources>
<Setter Property="SnapsToDevicePixels" Value="True"/>
<Setter Property="Padding" Value="4,1"/>
<Setter Property="HorizontalContentAlignment" Value="{Binding HorizontalContentAlignment, RelativeSource={RelativeSource AncestorType={x:Type ItemsControl}}}"/>

<Setter Property="Background" Value="Transparent"/>
<Setter Property="BorderBrush" Value="Transparent"/>
<Setter Property="BorderThickness" Value="1"/>
<Setter Property="FocusVisualStyle" Value="{StaticResource FocusVisual}"/>
<Setter Property="Template">

You can copy the default template by right-clicking on a ListBox in design mode in Visual Studio and choose Edit Additional Templates->Edit Generated Item Container (ItemContainerStyle).
I have a following problem: I have two treeview controls in my WPF app and when I click on one of the items in first tree and then click on one of the items in second tree, then the item in first tree changes it backgroud color. I tried to change the background color in the multitrigger

<Condition Property="IsSelected" Value="true"/>
<Condition Property="IsSelectionActive" Value="false"/>

Only thing I can see wrong in the code you've posted is your Trigger's Setter sets both Background and Foreground to the same color {DynamicResource {x:Static SystemColors.HighlightTextBrushKey}}
You could also maybe try setting the MultiTrigger condition as Selector.IsSelectionActive to be explicit:
I tried your posted code with these changes (Works fine for me in Windows-8):
<MultiTrigger>
<MultiTrigger.Conditions>
<Condition Property="IsSelected"
Value="true" />
<Condition Property="Selector.IsSelectionActive"
Value="false" />
</MultiTrigger.Conditions>
<Setter TargetName="Bd"
Property="Background"
Value="{DynamicResource {x:Static SystemColors.HighlightBrushKey}}" />
<Setter Property="Foreground"
Value="{DynamicResource {x:Static SystemColors.HighlightTextBrushKey}}" />
</MultiTrigger>
Output:
Note:
Your only setting Style for the Top TreeViewItem as TreeViewItemStyle1. Hence the default Style gets applied to the Child TreeViewItem's which don't specify a Style. If you want it to apply automatically to all TreeViewItem's just remove the Style Key in declaration and it should be applied automatically based on the TargetType
I am working with a repeatbutton object in WPF, the button needs to be graphic based (Image brush background and no border or other superfluous effects).
The problem I have is that no matter what i try there is still a white rectangle around the button, and, i am not sure now after looking at this for a few hours that I am sure I understand why or how to remove it.
I have created the button using the following in the XAML
<RepeatButton Content="" BorderThickness="0" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="334,265,0,0" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="149" Height="100" Background="{DynamicResource ImageBrush_Decrement}" Style="{DynamicResource RepeatButtonStyle_noflash}" d:LayoutOverrides="HorizontalAlignment"/>
You will note that I am referencing a style of "RepeatButtonNoFlash" which i used to remove the defaultrender (as it was causing a flashing effect, this style is defined in a shared dictionary as below

I've created wpf ComboBox template. And I've added trigger on IsFocused property, to change my ComboBox Border color. But for some reasons it's working only when It's focused with Tab button. It doesn't change border color when I made selection in Combobox. How to solve this problem? Here is template code:

The problem appears to be with WPF's DependencyProperty Precedence rules
The color specified in ComboBoxReadonlyToggleButton Style:
<Border x:Name="Chrome" SnapsToDevicePixels="true" BorderBrush="#c1bebe"
BorderThickness="2,2,2,2" CornerRadius="3,3,3,3">
is taking precendence over the triggered color defined in your ComboBox's ControlTemplate.Triggers
<Trigger Property="IsFocused" Value="True">
<Setter Property="BorderBrush" Value="#FF1388B7"/>
</Trigger>
Change it to {TemplateBinding BorderBrush} and it will work correctly
<Border x:Name="Chrome" SnapsToDevicePixels="true"
BorderBrush="{TemplateBinding BorderBrush}"
BorderThickness="2,2,2,2" CornerRadius="3,3,3,3">
