Get facebook feed for particular users C# - c#

I am developing a server application that should be able to react to the amount of likes for some of the posts in the user's feed.
I need to get post from users wall.
I'm using Facebook library version 6.4.2
I use the following code to get the posts:
var apiKey = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["apiKey"];
var secret = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["secret"];
var client = PostHandler.CreateFacebookClient(apiKey, secret);
var get = client.Get(string.Format("/{0}/feed", pageId));
and/or (both return the same info)
var token =ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["token"];
var get = client.Get(string.Format("/{0}/feed?access_token={1}", pageId, token));
The problem is that using the same set of permissions the json returned from the request above is different from the json returned from json returned from Graph API Explorer methog GET 100000481752436/feed
In my opinion the json returned from my request is missing some posts and the one from the Geaph API all contains the posts from my feed.
Could you please advice, what could I have missed ?

If you are missing some posts in the feed it is most likely that you'll have to check the permissions set again.
Based on the type of posts you are missing you maybe have to add the user_status, user_activities, user_friends, user_checkins or user_games_activity permissions. Please make sure that you're using the correct set of the permissions for your particular task.
If you'll specify the type of the posts you are missing you may get much more helpful answers.

androidpublisher api google authorname empty

I have been testing the google api to get the comments of my android application in google play and it always returns me the empty authorname, do I need some other permission? I put the json of what returns me.
Thank you!
I suspect this is an issue with fields
var request = service.Reviews.List ("my.app");
request.Fields = "*";
var results = request.ExecuteAsync() ;
I don't have access to that api so the code is an educated guess give it a try let me know if it doesn't work. Try testing it here as well Google APIs explorer.
Update 1:
I have one last guess try running a Reviews.Get request after your review.list maybe the name isn't return in the list it should be though.
var request = service.Reviews.Get("my.app",reviewIdFromListRequest);
request.Fields = "*";
var results = request.ExecuteAsync() ;
If this doesn't work i say we log it as a bug.
Update 2:
apparently its a documented bug
Found in this documentation page reviews

Facebook page /feed missing images

I was using the Facebook Public API Feed for the longest time and since they deprecated it I've been trying to find a replacement method in C#.
I am able to get my page posts but any post that contains images I only get the message and no images. After spending the past weekend trying to find a way I am desperate to know if anyone has had any success in getting full page post content from the Facebook C# SDK library.
Here is what I have and it works for getting the posts but they do not contain any images.
var fb = new FacebookClient
{
AppId = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings.Get("FacebookAppID"),
AppSecret = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings.Get("FacebookAppSecret"),
AccessToken = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings.Get("FacebookAccessToken")
};
var pageFeed = string.Format("/v2.4/{0}/feed", _facebookPageId);
dynamic response = fb.Get(pageFeed);
Since the upgrade in Graph API v2.4. Only a limited set of data is sent via FB unless specifically requested. You should pass the fields parameter with the keyword of data which you would like to retrieve.
A list of keyword is available here
In your case, the request statement would be:
var pageFeed = string.Format("/v2.4/{0}/feed?fields=id,message,picture", _facebookPageId);
To get all pictures from a post: replace picture with attachments, as picture will return the very first picture linked to the post.
var pageFeed = string.Format("/v2.4/{0}/feed?fields=id,message,attachments", _facebookPageId);

Using Facebook API to access public group event data

I'm developing a public website and what I want to do is pretty straightforward, but I'm pulling my hair out trying to get everything working right.
I administer an open Facebook group and I want to display the public facebook events of this group on my website.
I can't seem to figure out how to setup my authentication so that I can access the event data. Here is my code for using my application to get an auth token:
var fb = new FacebookClientWrapper();
dynamic result = fb.Get("oauth/access_token", new
{
client_id = AppSettings.AppID,
client_secret = AppSettings.AppSecret,
grant_type = "client_credentials"
});
fb.AccessToken = result.access_token;
I know this works fine because I can access some information - for example, if I access a specific event by its ID, I can retrieve that information.
The problem occurs when I try to retrieve a list of events with fields within a date range:
[HttpGet]
public object GetEventDetails(string unixStartDateTime, string unixEndDateTime)
{
var parms = new Dictionary<string, object>();
parms.Add("fields", new[] { "id","name","description","start_time","venue" });
if (!String.IsNullOrEmpty(unixStartDateTime)) { parms.Add("since", unixStartDateTime); }
if (!String.IsNullOrEmpty(unixEndDateTime)) { parms.Add("until", unixEndDateTime); }
var eventsLink = String.Format(#"/{0}/events", AppSettings.GroupID);
return ObjectFactory.GetInstance<IFacebookClient>().Get(eventsLink,parms);
}
(I'm aware that even if this did succeed, the return value wouldn't be serializable - I'm not concerned about that quite yet).
This GET request returns the following message:
(OAuthException - #102) A user access token is required to request this resource.
So the message is quite clear: I need a user access token to get the data I've requested. The question is - what is the best way to do this? Can I give my application a certain permission to read this data? I've looked over all the permissions available to apps, but I don't see one that would do the trick.
I don't want to require people to log onto Facebook to look at public event data, and I love the idea of allowing people with no technical experience to essentially update the website content by posting Facebook events to the group. Right now, I have to duplicate anything they do.
I would think this kind of application would be very common, but no matter what I've read or tried, I can't quite find an example of the same thing that works.
From the docs at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/v2.0/group/events you need
A user access token for a member of the group with user_groups permission.
To avoid the hassle, you could create such an Access Token via the Graph Explorer and then store it in your application. Remember to exchange that Access Token to a long-lived one (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/access-tokens/#extending), and that you have to renew the Access Token every 60 days afterwards.

Facebook Retrive Data using Graph API using c#

i have created desktop Facebook application using c# .net. i want to retrieve users message,post and chat history. which is convenient way to retrieve users all information.i have started with Facebook Graph API but i am not getting any example.
can any one help me ?
A bit late to the party but anyway:
Add a reference to System.Net.Http and Newtonsoft.Json
string userToken = "theusertokentogiveyoumagicalpowers";
using (var client = new HttpClient())
{
client.BaseAddress = new Uri("https://graph.facebook.com");
HttpResponseMessage response = client.GetAsync($"me?fields=name,email&access_token={userToken}").Result;
response.EnsureSuccessStatusCode();
string result = response.Content.ReadAsStringAsync().Result;
var jsonRes = JsonConvert.DeserializeObject<dynamic>(result);
var email = jsonRes["email"].ToString();
}
Go to developer.facebook.com -> Tools & Support -> Select Graph API Explorer
Here U get FQL Query, Access Token
Then write code in C#.....
var client = new FacebookClient();
client.AccessToken = Your Access Token;
//show user's profile picture
dynamic me = client.Get("me?fields=picture");
pictureBoxProfile.Load(me.picture.data.url);
//show user's birthday
me = client.Get("me/?fields=birthday");
labelBirthday.Text = Convert.ToString(me.birthday);

I hope this will help you.!!!
you can check the Graph explorer tool on Developer.facebook.com , go to Tools and select graph explorer, its a nice tool which gives you exact idea about what you can fetch by sending "GET" and "POST" method on FB Graph APis
From what i see the app now only uses webhooks to post data to a data endpoint (in your app) at which point you can parse and use this. (FQL is deprecated). This is used for things like messaging.
A get request can be send to the API to get info - like the amt. of likes on your page.
The docs of FB explain the string you have to send pretty nicely. Sending requests can be done with the webclient, or your own webrequests.
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bay1b5dh(v=vs.110).aspx
Then once you have a string of the JSON formatted page you can parse this using JSON.NET library. It's available as a NUGEt package.

How to see if a user is following you on Twitter using C# Twitter API wrapper Tweetsharp

I see there is a API call for Frienships/Show, but I am not sure how to parse the response to get the true/false.
Here is my code so far:
var twitter = FluentTwitter.CreateRequest()
.AuthenticateAs(_userName, _password)
.Friendships().Verify(_userNameToCheck)
.AsJson();
var response = twitter.Request();
Also, once authenticated, how to do set a user to follow you?
With TweetSharp you can access the friendships/exists API this way:
var twitter = FluentTwitter.CreateRequest()
.AuthenticateAs(_username, _password)
.Friendships()
.Verify(_username).IsFriendsWith(_userNameToCheck)
.AsJson();
There is no way to "set a user to follow you", they have to choose to follow you on their own.
There is an API for that listed in the API Wiki. The document can be found here. This will simply return true if it user A is following user B.
Here is a list of Libraries that probably support what your after.
