Does anybody know some XNA 4.0 papers. I'm interested in e-books and other documents/papers. Preferably free....
Non-common websites are also welcome :) (Not returned from google search)

Charles Petzold's new Windows Phone 7 book covers XNA on the phone, that might be useful.
Free download from his site here: http://www.charlespetzold.com/phone/index.html

Microsoft have updated all of the Education catalog to be version 4. I'd start there. At this present time, I don't think that there are any Game Studio 4 books. Maybe only available on pre-order.
Shawn Hargreaves blogged about a free e-book, but I believe it's more for Windows Phone 7 development.

I work as a system developer, mainly programming information systems in C# for web, desktop and server environments. Now I'd like to have a go at game development in C# just for the sake of the challenge and expanding my horizons, but where do I start? I've had a look at XNA, but I heard that it's on the way out.
Where does one begin?
I know this says "Teens" but it may be worth a look: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Visual-Programming-Teens-Course-Technology/dp/1435458486/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1371394387&sr=8-3&keywords=c%23+game
I just saw this today funnily enough, I have no affiliate with the author (or Amazon)

I want to take a screenshot using c# for windows8 in visual studio 2012 express.Api copyfromscreen is not supported in windows8.Is there any other way to take a screenshot programmatically using c# for windows8.Thanks in advance.
The short answer is: it can't be done.
More specifically, Microsoft have specifically restricted the ability of a Metro app to take screenshots, either of themselves or other applications. Desktop applications are still able to access the various methods for taking screenshots, but Metro apps may not. This is by design, and apparently not likely to change.
More information on this can be found in this post on the MSDN Forum. (Linked from Stack Overflow question How to capture the screen in a Metro C# app as mentioned by Olav's comment)

And also, do you guys have any good starting tutorials for this?
Thanks in advance !!
WP7 apps will run on WP8. Use your favorite search engine to find tutorials or post a new question explaining what specifically you can't figure out.

I've been looking for ways to develop metro style games for Windows 8 in C#. All I can find are tuts explaining how to build games in C++ or JS/HTML5.
I'd really like to continue with C# since I really like the language. What are the recommendations around this topic?
I'd look into SharpDX or MonoGame, both of which have support for Windows 8 Metro style apps.
I'm not sure what the state of XNA is these days.

Does anyone know the best opensource for .NET controls?
With Dev Express, Telerik, they so cool, but they are commercial version.
You can already find quite a lot of interesting stuff on Codeplex. And of course there's no stopping yourself to create your own custom controls for your application. Take a look at these tutorials: Developing Custom ASP.NET Server Controls..
How about Mono’s re-implementation of Windows Forms?
