How to declare a style globally and use that style across the app in uwp

I am using a style for a textbox in a page in my uwp app.The style I am writing in Page.resources tag. How to add this style globally and access in every page of app. But I want to use the style across the app by writing once. How can I do it.

You can put the styles in the App.xaml to make it accessible globally. You can add the style within the App.xaml like this:

</Style>

Then you can call the style into any of your pages just like how you call it before. For example:

Write the style in App.xaml. You can access it on pages

How to highlight a MenuFlyoutItem which is clicked/selected in UWP?

In the old wp 8.1 it used to automatically highlight the selected/clicked item in the flyout. But in the case of a MenuFlyout this is not happening in the new UWP.
How to achieve it in this scenario.

You need to edit the style of MenuFlyoutItem and MenuFlyoutPresenter. This link will guide you how to do that. [Edit MenuFlyoutItem ][1].

Create Windows 10 ControlTemplate in code-behind file

I have a CheckBox, which I have defined in my xaml file with the help of a Windows.UI.Xaml.Controls.ControlTemplate. I have done this because I needed to overwrite the existing CheckBox image. Here is my CheckBox:

as you can see I'm stuck. The only thing that pops up here is SetValue, but this needs a parameter of type DependencyProperty as well as an object.

Firstly I think you don't need to use Template in this case. CheckBox is ContentControl. You can set content directly.
For example:

Secondly Imho better way to change content when CheckBox is checked is do it in XAML. For example you can edit CheckBox (its copy of default style of CheckBox thats why its so long :)) style:

WP8: Change the Listboxitem Datatemplate on Selection Changed

I have a listbox in windows phone 8,
For that i want to change the datatemplate for the Selected Item.
I have done this is WPF like :
