I have done Assets create c# script from Unity, then opened the project from visual studio 2015, it shows the empty file but I can't find recomendations of how to autocomplete instructions.
I usually do cntr + space on c++ with vs but now it inserts me an empty space, nothing else. I went to tools options, keyboard and put cntr + space for completeWord to general (all languages) but isn't working. Tried with any combination of commands but didn't work too.

I guess you need to have C# installed as a supported language in VS before you can do anything with it. The feature you want is called IntelliSense and it pre-compiles your code in the background while you write. The types and members are determined through reflection, so VS actually needs compiled code to reflect on. It is not the same as some text editors, which have a vocabulary of common words.
This the background compilation is impossible without C# being installed in VS.

To my knowledge, Visual Studio doesn't provide that functionality out of the box. However, there are free extensions you can download from the Visual Studio Marketplace that do what you describe such as:
Surround Selection
Selection Wrapper
You can download them from the marketplace using the links above or by searching in visual studio (Menu: Extensions -> Manage Extensions -> perform your search)
Disclaimer I’ve only tried out the first one of these briefly and it appears to work. I will update after checking the second one.
Edit: I've now tried both and both worked. Please note that I use VS2019 so I can't vouch for their performance on VS2017. Of the two options I mentioned, Surround Selection claims to work with VS2017 while the second one only lists VS2019.
I have a file called Asembly-CSharp.dll i want to edit in C#. I decompile it with .NET reflector's FileGenerator (also tried file disassembler and dotPeek) plugin, thus creating a visual studio project, i open it in visual studio, but it fails to build, i didn't change anything, yet i get lots of errors (like unexpected characters etc), the dll refers to lots of other dlls but even if i put all of them in one solution it fails. Why does it fail if i didn't change anything in the source code (.NET framewrok version is the same as it was before decompilation). Any help appreciated.

Reverse engineering needs a bit of effort. Nothing comes for free. You need to manually fix those errors.
Mostly these errors occur because either Reflector decompiles the code with compiler-generated variable names that are valid in IL but not in C#, or because that particular assembly was written in some other language that supports features that cannot be directly translated to C#.
Is there C# interactive window for VS 2013, or any other similar way, without installing VS 2012.
I tried C# Repel, C# Snippet Compiler and Mono Command Prompt, but, all of them don't provide the features of C# interactive window packed with Roslyn for VS 2012.
UPDATE: Found a total better alternative!!! Try CShell, it is free and open source! "A simple, yet powerful, C# scripting IDE" as they promote it.

Best way is to install VS 2012 and use C# interactive window provided with its Roslyn. While doing that, wait Microsoft to release C# interactive to VS 2013.

I just got upgraded to VS 2013 and wanted C# Interactive, and this is
the first hit when I searched for it, so I figured I would place my
answer here...
Didn't make sense to me that the extension from VS 2012 wouldn't work;
so I hunted down the Roslyn keys in my registry for VS 2012 and was
able to kinda figure out what was going on. After a bit of futzing
around, I finally got it working, so here's the instructions for
whoever might care to try [be warned, I'm sure this isn't supported by
MS, I take no responsibility if something happens to mess up your
computer, and so forth ;)].
Basically it was a matter of
copying some registry keys with slight modification copying some files
and this one is annoying but oh, well] there's a file you have to
change the datestamp on (I did it by opening the file in Notepad++ and
saving it out.) If you don't already have VS 2012 or you don't have
the Roslyn CTP installed you'll need to get the files somehow, and I'm
not sure if there are other registry settings needed or not, but I
imagine if you just manage to get the files out of the CTP distro it
would be enough... No guarantees of course.

and yeah... there's a file in the aforementioned 'Common7\IDE\Extensions' directory called
'extensions.configurationchanged'; I couldn't get things to take, then
I noticed that file. so, as mentioned, I just opened in Notepad++ and
saved back out; I think I had to make a change to the file, so I added
a space. kinda felt kludgy, but I guess it beats VS taking longer to
load due to having to scan the Extensions every time you open it up.
So, that's it! Worked for me, I hope someone else may find this
useful, as it probably took longer to post this than it did to
actually get it working in the first place. ;) It's possible I missed
a step in here somewhere, since I had made a few other attempts before
I found the 'changed' file, so I could have possibly twiddled another
bit somewhere that was necessary that I don't remember. Should be a
good start tho.
I haven't tested it out fully by any means but it shows up in the
'View > Other Windows' list, it opens up just find, and it looks like

You could also use LinqPad. You can use it to test C# code. It has built in support for loading DLLs and Nuget Packages. Its what I use personally and I love it.
It has a free version, but the paid version has intellisense and debugger

After you have installed VS 2015 and its updates (update 3 KB3165756 patch has just arrived) you can bring C# interactive to your screen as follows:
Either via the menu
View -> Other Windows -> C# Interactive
Or press Ctrl + Q and type into the quick launch box:
C# interactive
which allows you to click on View -> Other Windows -> C# Interactive with the mouse.
Afterwards, you have the C# Interactive beneath the error list. Here is an example how you can use it:
Quickstart:
To get help in this window, type #help and press enter.
To execute a statement, simply press ENTER. To type in multiple lines, press SHIFT+ENTER for each line, and for the last line press ENTER to execute the entire statement.
To print the values of a variable, type its name and press enter (in the screen shot, I have done this for variable q)
In VB.NET projects, errors are highlighted immediately after cursor leaves the line. In C#, I have to wait several seconds for IntelliSense to highlight it. Also, the C# version doesn't show all project errors in "Errors List", unless you start to build it. Actually, it seems to work differently in every way. Is it possible to adjust that behavior?
I am using both Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010.
It's because VB.NET does full background compilation whenever the IDE is idle, so it always has the latest information ready. C# doesn't do this and instead have a separate process that creates the IntelliSense information.
You can't really adjust it without a lot of work or buying some third party tool. It's one of the differences between the languages, the VB.NET team concentrates on certain aspects and the C# team on others.
Though I think some of the addins you can buy (possibly ReSharper and others) are advertising better IntelliSense if you really want it.
When using Visual Basic, Visual Studio instantly compiles the new code, whereas with C#, only syntax errors are highlighted directly, and compile errors after you build the code.
I'm beginning to work on a COBOL/BASIC IDE at work (to replace the one that we have currently that's a slight step up from Notepad). It'll be made in C#. The management is really interested in implementing some Visual Studio type features, and a big one is code folding. I've looked on MSDN, but I didn't see any good way to collapse lines (or to add the expand/collapse buttons).
I'm assuming that the text area should be a RichTextBox. Am I off track here? I suppose it could be done with some sort of modified TreeView, but that seems a little wrong to me. Is there some way of doing this that I'm just missing?
Why not use an existing IDE and extend it? Writing one from scratch is a huge undertaking (you need a parser, lexer, syntax highlighter and more), and is even more complicated if you need to support multiple languages (you mention COBOL and Basic).
Notepad++ has syntax coloring and one can add languages to it - COBOL is one of the ones installed by default. It supports code folding and has many plugins (you can write your own, that will suit your needs).
Edit:
Eclipse is another excellent IDE that has similar support, and as mentioned in the comments has a COBOL plug-in.
I suggest you take a look at SharpDevelop. It's a pretty good IDE with a bunch of Visual Studio like features already built in. It's written in C# and fully supports code folding with syntax highlighting in several languages. Plus, it's Open Source under the LGPL license. So, if you don't want to base your app on SharpDevelop then you can still reuse some of their controls like the code editor or windowing toolkit.
You should consider adding the COBOL language to SharpDevelop instead of starting from scratch. If you can't do this, then you can still use the SharpDevelop code as a decent reference on how to make a good IDE work.
Sometimes embedding Eclipse or a full-fledged editor is not appropriate. It's overkill or overweight or wrong for some other reason. I appreciate the first inclination suggested in other posts to not re-invent here, but in some cases a small invention is what is necessary. For example, the textbox used to make Stack Overflow posts .... is neither Eclipse nor an embedded Visual Studio. I wonder why?
It's important to ask the question - build it or buy it? - but sometimes, the correct answer is BUILD IT.
XPathVisualizer provides a simple example of a code-folding text editor implemented in C#, and based on a RichTextBox. It's not VB, though - it's an XML editor. But the general principles apply.
Here's a look at it.
To implement XML syntax colorization dynamically, while the user types, it uses a separate background thread. The reasons why and some of the details are described in a separate answer on Stack Overflow.
You could do something similar for your COBOL/VB thing. XPathVisualizer is open source, licensed with MS-PL, so you can browse and borrow.
If your team is used to "Visual Studio features," then I'll assume you use Visual Studio there at the office. Here are my suggestions:
Base your IDE on Visual Studio, for the following reasons:
Use Visual Studio 2010 if possible. The SDK is greatly improved from 2008/earlier.
Use Visual Studio 2008/2005 otherwise. At the moment, all of my commercial IDE products only support 2005/2008.
If your team uses Visual Studio, they will hate Eclipse. Not even an option to consider in this case unless you choose to use an existing Eclipse plug-in, saving you the time of creating a new IDE.
If your team isn't using Visual Studio 2010, you can use the Visual Studio 2010 Shell in Integrated Mode for free (Isolated Mode is not what you want). This lets you use Visual Studio 2010 for your IDE for now, and should the team upgrade later to one of the full versions of Visual Studio 2010, the IDE for your language will cleanly integrate into the full version. Edit: Visual Studio Shell is basically the core of Visual Studio without any specific languages (C#, C++, VB, etc.) included. Microsoft provides this core for free, and it's a great option specifically for people interested in creating their own language support.

Writing a complete IDE is a HUGE task. I would recommend trying to find an existing one that has what you want, or make adaptions to an existing open source IDE.
To answer your question: I guess that the Visual Studio IDE uses a custom control, written from scratch, rather than a RichText control.
