C# Changing color on label doesnt work in my stacklayout

i am using code behind visual state managers to give selected labels a background color, but this doesnt work, any idea why?

This is inside a grid, wherei use _lines.SelectedItem = pressedItem; to make sure that I can click on my label.

Retreive stackpanel children from GridViewItem (UWP)

I'm wondering how I can get the contents of a stackpanel which has been added to a GridViewItem (YouTube data API, the stackpanel contains a bitmap image for a thumbnail, the title of the video and a hidden TextBlock with the video ID for reference).
To clarify, I need to be able to obtain the contents of the StackPanel that is contained in the GridViewItem (such as the string of that hidden TextBox) so I can use the data to display the correct video.
Here's the code I use to create the stackpanel.

getting value from elements created dynamically

im working on a project(UWP C sharp) from college..
i need to build library program that manege books and magazines
i have a problem with the edit item page...
iv created method that create elements (text box, datepicker , etc..) dynamically by the type of the item that selected (if the user select book, he'll get the elements for book same for magazines..)
the problem is when im trying to write the event button that take the values from all those elements i cant reach them... cuz they in a method..
(like book.title = textbox.text;)

If you have named each of the dynamically created field you can access them by using the FindName method.
TextBox editTitleTB = new TextBox();
editTitleTB.Name = "TheHobbitTB";
editTitleTB.Text = LibManager.Instance.CurrentItem.Title;
TextBox theHobbitTB = (TextBox)this.FindName("TheHobbitTB");
Then you could essentially edit what ever you want about this specific textbox.

C# add an image (instead of text) to ListViewItem

I'm dynamically updating a ListView like that:

item.Text = "Text1";
item.SubItems.Add("Text2");

item.SubItems.Add("Text4");
item.Tag = i;
listView.Items.Add(item);
now I want that instead of Text4 will be a lil icon I will get dynamically from a url. I read a lot of threads and tried many things - but I can't get this to work..

You need to implement ImageList in your function.

New TabItem at run time

Hi I am using TabControl to make Conference System, the private chats would be in a new TabItem. I am using this code to present a new member chatting in private:
TabItem ti = new TabItem();
ti.Header="Name";
MyTabControl.Items.Add(ti);
but the problem with this code is that I am adding a list box in the TabItem but the TabItem doesn't have a function to add an item in it. how can I add items into TabItem?

with this code I can add all items I need in the new tab. but the main problem is that I can't name the tab there is no property like (ti.Header) to name the tab. so what is the solution please? and thank you
